Jamie Wake - Developing Physical Medium

Although one of our sitters was sunning it in Cyprus this week, we still met to connect with the spirit world.

The circle began as usual with a prayer.  Sitter “D” had brought the CD player and we sung “I’d like to teach the world to sing”.  The energy the song gives is amazing.  I sang the first time and while the other sitters repeated it twice, I began to change my level of consciousness into a trance state.

As I relaxed, the other sitters began to see the usual faces appear although they say there seemed to be a number of people fighting to show themselves so a mixture of faces were seen!

Being a novice, I’m not really sure how I encourage our friends in the spirit world speak through me apart from send thought up to say they can if they want!

I relayed inspired words back to the sitters including “I’ve come to break bread with you” and the sitters say I said that I was George.  I kept hearing something about Lord Derbyshire or something but I couldn’t be sure!

I found it very difficult to come back out of trance this evening and it alsmost felt that I needed to be in that state - I can’t explain why I felt that.

The sitters heard a couple of knocks this evening and we all witnessed the light being turned up and down. 

The recording will be uploaded as soon as I can transfer it from this evening.

The energies felt good and it is seeming to gel a lot more now.

Well we’ve had our first Physical Circle and although it wasn’t as active as our “Trial Circle”, there was lots of energy and a good demonstration of transfiguration.

Sitters included Mr “M”, Mrs “A”, Mrs “D” and Mrs “C”.

I was a little reluctant to go too deeply but it was pretty apparent that Spirit wanted to find different ways of being able to speak through me. My understanding, and this is only my opinion, is that there is a circle of likeminded spirits sitting to develop in the spirit world. I felt that there was a Clown, a Doctor and a Chinese Man - there could be others but I’m not sure. These were the characters I was aware of.

One of the sitters, “A”, went into an altered state of consciousness and I felt that this was because I wouldn’t! As soon as she came back, I went under.

I had an experience of having my tounge go num - similar to being at the dentist. This happened when I was trying to speak so perhaps the spirit worls was experiementing with me? I also had a repeat of the stuttering episode - almost as if they’re trying to stop me speaking and allow spirit to talk?

The evening was recorded onto a Digital Dictaphone and I will upload the audio to this diary as soon as possible and will edit this post as I remember more! I will also encourage the circle sitters to upload their comments on the evening and encourage them to do this after each physical circle.

Hi and welcome to my blog which will chart the developments that take place within my Physical Circle.

I have to make to make a correction straight away - I am only a Developing Physical Medium and I am sitting to strengthen that connection with the spirit world.

You need to know at this stage that I am scared of the dark and thats the one thing that has held me back for so long!

Although I am a platform worker, I have only recently started to demonstrate and show promise within physical mediumship with only a few people having witnessed any phenomena - the main one being transfiguration.

Transfiguration is the one thing that I have always said I would like to develop and I hope that through the circle, I can be of service to the spirit world in this way.

In about an hour, we will all sit for the first time to see what unfolds and its very nerving but exciting at the same time!  My digital dictaphone is ready!
